Welcome to the Hinckley Soul Club!

If you are a first time visitor, you are probably wondering who we are, what we are and why!
Put simply, this web site attempts to explain all this. As for the author, let's just say
it's an excuse to commit many years of pleasure to a web site, and to say thanks
to all those people who made the HSC what is was, and still is today.
Times change, people change, but the one constant in Hinckley seems to be the
love of soul music. Whether it be Northern Soul, Motown, or any other flavour
of soul music you can think of, Hinckley is a haven. Go to any disco, party, wedding,
or nightclub, it's there. It's in the blood.
This web site is an attempt to record the recent history of Northern Soul music in the town,
and play due homage to the people who, over the years, have kept the heart of soul beating.
