Ahhh so there is life out there after all! Nice to see some vistors leaving messages and
some coming in again.
Three updates today from Leigh Jakeman, Rikki Somerville and a new contributor, Tony from
Wolverhampton. Come on, the rest of you, time for a few more!
I've also got some updates to do to the Torch page, thanks to some info sent in by
Phil Sheridan and Phil Shaw (thanks both), an update to the Twisted Wheel page courtesy of
Bernard from Manchester. I'll get round to them as soon as I can.
Last year I was banging on about the Temptations USA and how good they are...
well, Richy (aka Ricardo) Sampson and the crew are coming to The Sketchley Grange on 1st March as
their alter egos, The Drifters. We have seen Richy's Drifters show, and believe me,
it's as good as the Temps USA. With dinner thrown in it's £40 a head. See the

Sorry, sorry, sorry! I bet many of you had thought I'd given up with the site, but
simply put I just haven't had time, too many other things going on. I have a new job,
and it's an early start, so I don't have the time in the evenings to do as much
as I used to, so I'll squeeze in what I can where I can.
For those of you that know me, you know I love Benidorm, and we've been there again...
and what a find!
One of the big clubs in Benidorm, Rockerfellas, has been completely
refurbished and playing there was simply one of the best live acts I have seen since
the late, great Edwin Starr...

Just a bit of a teccie update today. I got fed up with hunting through the forum trying to find
stuff so I have finally got round to putting a search in. In fact it's quite interesting to
search for any old thing and you'll be suprised to find that somebody has probably said
something about it. Try "marmite" for example!

The big news this weekend is that the 100 Club allnighter has come to an end. A change
in promoter has caused the Saturday night format to change, which means that there is no longer
enought time to run the allnighters. This cancellation is immediate. However, it looks like
the allnighter will continue, albeit at another venue.
I have added some more YouTube content today, featuring Cleethorpes, the Granada documentatary "This England",
and Leicester Allnighter 1984. You can find these vids on the page.
Also, a new picture has been added to
page this time of Paul Gats, who is DJing at the Clarendon Club in June 2007.

As promised, the video footage of the superb Wesley Phillips has been uploaded and is now
available on the page,
which appears on the Pictures and Video Menu. You really have gotta have a look at these,
I have not seen a man perform with so much soul since Edwin Starr! Even better, get on a plane
to Alicante and pop up the coast to Benidorm and see the man live... it's worth the trip, honest!

Wahey! Back after the customary New Year in Benidorm, and wow what a party that was! You may
remember that I found this guy named Wesley Phillips performing in various clubs over there,
and has he come on since last year... you would not believe this guy, he is incredible! I have
got some video footage of him performing, and I'll be posting it over the next day or so; in
fact I think he's that good, he's getting his own page!
Thanks also for the input over Christmas, and I'll be sorting that out very soon... right now,
I'm knackered after all the partying, so check back tomorrow!
