Not content with watching "the Temps" perform an excellent set of classic soul numbers from the Temptations, the Four Tops, The Drifters and many others, my wife Sue and I just had to meet them; and what a friendly lot they were. The main man who I believe put the group together is Ricardo Sampson, the other group members being Leroy C, Tauray Thomas and Paul Anthony. Leroy C has one of the best falsetto voices I have heard since Smokey; judge for yourself by watching the "Just My Imagination" clip below.

That comment does not take anything away from the other members of the group, though. Perfect timing, class harmonies, and superbly choreographed dance routines make this a "must see" act.

The Temptations USA were performing at Rockerfellas when we saw them, but I have since learned that contractural difficulties have forced them to leave Rockerfellas. I am reliably informed, however, that they will be back!

I managed to capture a few short video clips of the Temptations USA performing at Rockerfellas before being told off by "The Management" (even though I had Ricardo's permission to film them GRRRR!). Enjoy the music and the atmosphere!
